The Going Away With Scheme is a resource for all adults within guiding who have completed the Leadership Qualification and wish to gain a qualification to be able to take their girls away on residentials.

It includes easy to follow modules with guidance covering all aspects of residential events from planning, catering and making first aid arrangements, to preparing the programme and evaluating the event. Clear criteria of what is required of the candidate, a record-keeping system that is as paper free as possible and an invaluable checklist to support planning for residential events.
